First Ever Wedding Favors!

This happened after 6months into this business. On a Sunday evening we received a call from a lady to enquire about Wedding favors, welcome gifts etc. At first we were in shock but amused as well, as she told us that she really liked our Instagram profile & thought we are the best in the city who could do this job for her. 

When we started this business we always wanted to do bulk orders and creative favors! With our previous experience & calculations we thought that this opportunity will come after a year once we start. So something like this was a pleasant surprise for us. (Which we obviously were trying to digest & trying not to panic as the wedding was just a month a away)

Client Meeting

Then the day comes when we first meet our client to discuss the details in person. Earlier we had discussed her requirement over a call & she also had a pretty clear idea in her mind. So we made some samples to show her and went for the meeting. The difficult part of this deal was to convince her brother as he wanted something very related to their birthplace and origin. So we discussed everything for almost 3hours and came to a conclusion. We almost finalised the products and we wanted to see samples before placing the order. (The catch was the bride was available only on weekends and the wedding was just 2 weeks away)

We had to crack this deal, because it was going to be our entry in the wedding field. We spent our rest of the day going to different markets & talking to vendors for the products and checking the availability. We created sample boxes and sent photos to clients. 

After discussing everything for about 10 days the client finally confirmed the order. We were on top of the world and excited to deliver the order. We were a little tense also as the delivery day was clashing with Rakshabandhan and we had loads of individual orders to deliver on the same day. 

We gathered the courage and went in with help from our family and friends. 

The day came when we had to procure the products. When we went to our vendor we faced another challenge. The products which we selected were out of stock and they wanted a particular type of candle and cups and chocolates. In one day we managed everything, met new vendors & they also made the products in one night. 

Final Packing & Delivery Day!

Yes it was only one day prior to the delivery day because they wanted real flowers in the hampers so couldn’t pack the hampers early. We took help from our family & friends to finish the order. From evening 6 to next day at 6 we were working continuously. We completed 50 hampers and 200 table giveaways ! The client was happy & so were we. There was a wave of excitement & new opportunities. We were ready to dive in!!
